I bought a 10 gallon tank today and I have a stick, water bowl, and sand in there along with crickets. I’m not so sure about the lighting I need. By the way, I’ve never owned a reptile before.

Honestly, you should have researched this reptile before you purchased it. By not knowing the basics, you show a lack of responsibility immediately. It was good that you came here, but get into the habit of doing loads of research before purchasing another reptile or pet.
The temperature should be between 78-82 degrees F during the day, and this can be achieved by using an under tank heating mad as well as a low wattage (10-25 w) heat lamp. The temperature should be in the low 70s during the evening, which is why a heat pad would be useful so that the evening temps don’t get too cold.
The 10 gallon is fine, decorations could be more plentiful as well as hiding spaces as they are relatively shy lizards. Not allowing them adequate shelter can lead to stress and illness. Keep the water bowl clean.
Good luck!
