I am a teacher, and this year my class has decided to raise Praying Mantis. The younger ones need to eat Aphids, but I am not sure where to find them. I can buy crickets at the local pet store. Any suggestions? Or should I stick to the Butterflies we usually raise? lol

Try any store that sells primarily reptiles or spiders. They should be able to tell you where you can get some or a good substitute

I know that aphids live on rose bushes primarily.. maybe you could contact a rose grower and see if they can help you…

You could try fruit flies as food. They are similar in size to aphids and much easier to cultivate.
